Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland offers professional, skilled and experienced help with domestic and gardening tasks. Whilst they can’t offer an emergency call-out service, their response is speedy and will be competitively priced.

Handperson Services

Our handymen can:

• fit battery door bells and smoke alarms
• install home security locks, chains and spy holes
• make domestic adaptations such as hand rails
• fit curtain rails, doors, shelves and grab rails
• repair small window panes
• decorating
• clean windows
• install draught proofing

Our handymen can't do:

• any tasks over 3 metres high
• any electrical, gas or plumbing work
• install or repair PVC windows or double glazing
• fit or repair central heating
• anything outside health and safety guidelines or not covered by our insurance

Gardening Services

Our gardeners can:

• cut grass
• trim hedges and prune shrubs
• weed and tidy flower beds, paths and drives
• paint and re-felt sheds
• creosote fences
• fit or repair garden gates

As well as many other garden tasks. We offer around-the-clock care, every day of the year and can provide male, female and multi-lingual Handymen & Gardeners.

Timothy Liveing Garden Maintenance is based in Sapcote, Leicestershire. Tim prides himself on putting customers first and will listen to what you want and then deliver in your garden. All quotations are none obligatory and can be booked at your convenience.
 
Full Garden Maintenance
Garden maintenance agreements will allow your garden to be maintained with regular reliable calls throughout the year, regardless of weather. You will see your garden move forward with pro-active improvements all year round. Tim aims not just to maintain but enhance your garden.

Lawn Care and Mowing
Tim will cut your lawns on a weekly or monthly basis from March through to November. If you need help with thatch infestations, they can be removed by regular scarification. Compacted or poor draining lawn can be alleviated by mechanical core aeration. Weeds can be eradicated by annual treatment with herbicides and further spot weeding if necessary. Moss can be treated with a algaecide annually and removed by scarification.

Hedge Trimming
Whatever height, vigour, access and frequency. Tim can do a one off trim, or an agreed frequency, keeping your hedge and topiary in pristine condition. All cuttings will be disposed of off site leaving your garden clean and tidy.

Pressure Washing
A pressure washer with an algaecide can transform a tired old patio into one that looks fresh and recently laid. Tired old brickwork is left with a new veneer, the original colour of the brick.

Garden Decking
Weather it be a new decking area or treatment to revive a previously installed deck Tim can help you with both. Decking can be two main colours either green or brown that can be treated regularly to ensure the original colour remains evident.

Fencing
Replacing or putting in a new fence Tim can provide a wide range of fencing products which include feather edge, pailing, trellis and close board fencing. From a single replacement panel to a new garden fence no job is to small.
